My transdisciplinary research and education focus on sustainable use of wood in constructions with regards to engineered wood, structural safety, moisture safety, durability, indoor comfort, energy efficiency, resource efficiency, and sustainability impacts. I want to explore the potential of wood as renewable and limited resource to maximize its sustainability impact in environmental, economic, and social aspects in local and global contexts of the construction sector.
